Zelda Community Stuff!
I promise to think up a more creative title next time. Anyway, ahem, let’s get to it then: what’s been going on over at the other Zelda sites lately? Well, we’re gonna have a look at some of it, because Christmas is all about sharing, so we will share with you what we know.
Merry Christmas
To all our loyal fans, I wish you all a merry Christmas on behalf of the entire LoZ.com staff. I hope that you get all that you wanted and that the day brings you more joy than you could ever have imagined possible.
In this festive time of giving, I remind all of you of our donation button over on the forums. Donating to PayPal does not cost you any more than the amount you donate, with or without a PayPal account. Although the site is no longer on a paid server, the site does owe Chance a lot of money still, and I know how much it would help him if everybody gave him even a few dollars. Every little bit counts. Christmas it about giving, not getting, I feel, so give: I already have!
I wish I had a delicious content release for you guys but I don’t, I just wanted to wish you a merry Christmas. Be sure to join in the festivities over at the forums, and keep up with the latest on your Facebook and Twitter. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
Going Green: Nintendo’s on the case
Everybody nowadays is talking about going green, saving the environment, climate change, stop killing the whales. It’s a growing trend to introduce greener goods, so we feel less guilty. Nintendo’s not one to fall behind, Wii games now coming in green cases. No, not 360 cases, “green” cases. The “Hug a tree” green. Here’s a picture of said case, courtesy of RawmeatCowboy over at GoNintendo.
Fan Art Spotlight
We have a brand new feature here at LoZ.com, and it’s a little something we like to call the Fan Art Spotlight. Every month we will select a new piece of fan art from our gallery to feature and promote!
Now here’s the fun part: You can have YOUR art featured right here! All you have to do is PM your work to Zelda on the forums, or email it. Every month we will look at all the new art we’ve received and select one to shine our spotlight on!
So start sending your fan art in and have your work seen by the thousands of people who visit LoZ.com every day!

Delve Into the Depths of History
Have you ever wondered what happened here at LoZ before your arrival? For many years, Link of Hyrule promised to create a site history page. However, he’s a lazy little Brit and the page never appeared. However, for those of you who are familiar with the Zelda Wiki know that on LoZ’s page, there is an extensive site history section. That section was written by yours truly, along with most content on that page. To live up to LoH’s promise, I have gone and taken that history section and made it look pretty, along with including several old and more recent layout images. The page has been completed and is available to view, with a link included under “Main Features”. Learn all that you ever wanted to know about LoZ’s History. Enjoy! Also, I recently connected the Facebook and Twitter accounts, so all updates from Facebook are sent to Twitter automatically. Be sure to vote in the Semi-Annual Awards! Until next time, LoZers, I bid you adieu!
Featured Content is Here!
As promised, I have added a new feature to the layout: a new Featured Content cutout in the header! This will display new things we post and update on both the main site and the forums, so keep an eye out on it to see what’s new and hot on LoZ.com!
Majora’s Mask Manga is Up!
Through the labors of myself, Matt, Chance and Zelda, the Majora’s Mask manga has now gone up in gallery format. Head onto the main site to go check it out!
