Actually, the Happy Mask Salesman's nationality is debatable. There's a possibility that he's Hylian, or that he's Terminan and just goes back and forth between Hyrule and Termina as a trade route sort of thing. Also, just because he's a Hylian doesn't mean he couldn't have gotten MM in Termina. It's like saying that because I'm American, I can't go to Europe and get European video games. Anyways, I still don't think Ganondorf will be in SS. It seems to be the first game in the series, it'd totally screw up the timeline (unless OoT3DS changes how the King trusted Ganondorf, but I highly doubt it) and, just because the Master Sword is there doesn't mean that Ganon/dorf has to be there. Just like it was with how if Ganon/dorf is there, it doesn't necessarily mean that the Master Sword has to be there (*cough*FSA*cough**cough*).

Overall, I just highly doubt that Ganondorf will be there. Ganon however, is another subject entirely. Ganon's not impossible (and if Nintendo follows the trend of bringing back old things in SS [ahem, Land Octos], then it's entirely possible that we'll see the good old blue pig demon Ganon).

I think that Ganon/dorf is entirly possible but i dont think it would be the best thing for it. Ganondorf is a classic charactor but is a rerererererehash and we need another villain.

Although, (doubtedlly) he could be a good guy which is why he has the kings trust in OoT

Nintendo could just do what they did with Vaati and make prequel games. TMC did come out after the Four Sword games, after all. In short: within fictional settings, nothing is impossible.

Nah. This takes place before OoT before Ganondorf was even introduced. I say a new villian and dev him great or maybe make a Gerudo woman the main threat! However putting Ganondorf in the plot just because it's Ganondorf would cause a plothole, we don't want that.

i think Nintendo is going to give us another crazy way how ganon was resurrected and put him in the game. i think it would be cool though because the games who dont have ganon as the main boss seem to not be as good as the ones that do.

Why wouldn't you want Ganondorf to be in this game? Whenever I think of the Legend of Zelda series, my first thoughts always come down to Link and Ganondorf, and thats the way it should be. Having Ganondorf in this game would just be tradition, but along with him being in this game, I hope for another enemy, sort of like a tag team sort of effect. The ultimate thing I would like to see is Ganondorf and another villian who are both trying to stop you, get the triforce, and kill each other, causing numerous plot twists. It wouldn't be a game without Ganondorf.

Anyways, I just don't think the inclusion of Ganondorf would be beneficial to the game. After all, SS is confirmed to be before OoT. If you think about it, Ganon/dorf's origins came from OoT. He was just a normal guy, despite his magical prowess, in the child half of OoT. He wasn't immortal, he wasn't demonic, he was just a normal guy who wanted to make a deal with Hyrule to make things easier for his people, the Gerudo (WW monologue, lol) but was corrupted by the temptation. OoT just screams the origins of both Ganon and Ganondorf if you look far enough into it and obviously we can't have him appear in SS if his origins were in OoT, somewhere in the future, now can we?

And besides, I think he needs a little more cool off time if you ask me. Maybe the next console game we'll get to see him, heck, maybe we'll even get Ganondorf for the first 3DS Zelda game (OoT3DS is just an N64 game hyped up on the power of the 3DS if you ask me).

I'm not saying I never want Ganondorf again, I just don't want him to be all stale and boring like he was in TP.

I think they should hold off on Ganon this time. Ganon will always be the great enemy of Link and the rest of hyrule, but with him being in every game he's starting to lose the wow and omg factor. Mabey hint at Ganon and stuff but I think a new and original villan would be a nice change of pace.

I don't know if I will be in Skyward Sword, the timeline says that it's before Ocarina of Time. It could hint of the gerudo in the future.

Whether I'm in it or not, it will be a great game.

You know, I really do rather like the idea of a female main villain that's been batted about in this thread. I don't think we've gotten that since... Veran, maybe? Really not something you see often in this series...

To be honest, I do not want Ganondorf. In the beginning, I had wanted him to be in Skyward Sword, but after reading all of these arguments, I have decided that it is probably not the right idea.

Ganon, I agree, is a bit overused, and should be reserved for a little bit until they come out with a game that could place him in it suitably.

And, like said above, Skyward Sword takes place BEFORE Ocarina of Time, which is where Ganondorf came from the land of the Gerudoes and came into Hyrule, retrieved the Triforce of Power, and became the King of Evil.

If he were to appear in Skyward Sword, it just wouldn't make sense.

Though that mess of a timeline would be awesome to see....if they had released it....

I think he shouldnt be the main villian, but he should make a cameo appereance. They should have a gerudo valley type thing and he should be there, but not really evil.

Ganodorf is the best villian in Zelda game. He is like a chosen one like Link and Princess Zelda. Since this game take hundred years before Ocarina of Time or not it would be great if he does appear.

First of all, if you beleive in the timeline then you don't technically raising him from the dead. I do agree, though, that Ganondorf is over-used. Second, I hope that they do introduce a new villian or bring back an old one (Agahnim, maybe).

I think that one of the bosses in *some* Zelda game out there should just be a giant killer Cucco. I mean, how epic would that be? O.o

Pretty awesome boss battle there. Though it would be embarrassing to be kidnapped by a chicken. *cough*zelda*cough*
